Jujutsu

So, what is Jujutsu? Although there are many variations, Jujutsu is considered the correct spelling and translates to mean "gentle art." Jujutsu originated as a system of unarmed combat among the samurai of feudal Japan. There are many variations of the art, but the emphasis is on using the opponent's force against himself rather than confronting it with one's own force. Jujutsu is a complete system of self-defense that utilizes, but is not limited to, ground grappling, strikes, throws, sweeps, joint locks/breaks, pushes, pulls, squeezes, chokes, and stomps. Jujutsu is an excellent form of combat, whether used on the battlefield, in law enforcement, for self-defense or for sport.

I enjoy the classes at the the dojo and recommend them fully. Daren
