Women Fighting Back is a program Master Dean designed to help prevent women from being victims of violent crimes or abuse. We discuss the different types of attacks and abuse that women often are faced with. We talk about different options of self defense (e.g., armed verses unarmed, lethal verses non lethal, etc.) to find out which way is right for each student. Women are taught to become more aware of their surroundings, how to avoid danger, and are taught the skills needed to survive violent attacks. In addition, classes are taught with sensitivity and care. Drills are done in a controlled, progressive manner starting with very little resistance and then as student's skills improve they become progressively more challenging. This class will empower women and help build self-confidence. Most importantly, women will learn that you can earn a safer existence through hard work and diligent practice.
